About The Role
We are pleased to announce a new vacancy for a Senior Account Manager in Large and Strategic Accounts. Our Large and Strategic Accounts team is responsible for providing first-class service to Autotrader’s largest customers, helping them achieve their goals and unlock commercial opportunities.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels within your customers’ businesses and thoroughly understanding each of their operations, challenges, and commercial objectives.
You will work with customers across both the Strategic and Large Accounts teams, providing you with a breadth of experience with diverse customers. Think of these as enterprise-type accounts in which you'll be involved in board-level conversations right through to the site level. Working closely with our internal teams, collaborating on key projects will also be a key remit of this role.

You will work closely with the Partnership Directors to create and deliver strategies that benefit our customers and build strong relationships, while driving commercial performance for Autotrader and your customers.
You will analyse and interpret customer performance data, using it to generate insights and tell stories that highlight areas of concern and opportunities for development. You will have the autonomy to choose what to present and how to present it, tailoring your delivery to your audience.
What We're Looking For
- Previous senior account management experience with independent and/or franchise customers
- Proficient in using Looker to unearth specific data points to build a data-led story to inspire change, with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
- Able to clearly understand target measures and KPIs and the impact to the business
- Comfortable with change and adapting to new ways of approaching meetings and customers
- Evidence of a proactive approach to mitigating risk
- A confident communicator, whilst proficient at presenting and delivering a data-led story in a concise, professional manner tailored to your audience
- Able to manage both internal and external stakeholders, whilst managing multiple customers and objectives at the same time
- A natural collaborator, accustomed to working with a team to achieve common goals
- Organised and will be able to prioritise effectively, allowing you to take ownership of your customer interactions to deliver a great experience

Benefits
We’re offering a salary of £50,000 – £70,000 with a £6,000 car allowance* plus an additional 10% of your salary awarded to you in shares each year. These awarded shares will become yours in yearly instalments over the next three years, and you can choose to either sell them or keep them as shares.
You'll have 28 days' holiday per year, and that's in addition to bank holidays and half-day closures on Christmas and New Year's Eve.
