Account Manager / Senior Account Manager – financial and professional services PR


About the Agency

Join an established, award-winning corporate communications agency helping financial and professional services brands build reputation, visibility, and influence.

Based in central London, this 25-person agency combines PR, content, social, design, and SEO to deliver truly integrated campaigns that make an impact.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, ambitious environment where people are encouraged to contribute ideas, challenge thinking, and play an active role in the agency’s continued growth.


About the Role

This Account Manager / Senior Account Manager role offers the opportunity to take ownership of exciting client accounts, shape strategic PR campaigns, build trusted client relationships, and oversee talented juniors.

You’d be responsible for:

  • Driving strategic, integrated PR campaigns for financial and professional services clients, ensuring activity aligns with campaign objectives.
  • Generating high-profile media coverage and responding quickly to the changing news agenda.
  • Taking a strategic view of accounts, using campaign performance, media coverage, and market developments to refine activity and identify new opportunities.
  • Building strong client relationships, acting as a trusted day-to-day adviser, and confidently leading client calls, meetings, and presentations.
  • Managing account teams, delegating effectively, and coaching junior team members.
  • Contributing to new business and identifying opportunities to grow existing client accounts.
  • Building strong media relationships, attending high-level press meetings, and developing a valuable network of relevant media contacts.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within a PR and communications agency, with experience working across financial and/or professional services clients.

You’ll bring:

  • Circa 4–6 years’ corporate communications experience.
  • Strong client relationship, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing, motivating, and developing junior team members.
  • Strong knowledge of social media tools, channels, and strategies.
  • An understanding of crisis communications and how to respond effectively.

Salary: £40,000–£50,000, depending on experience

  • Hybrid & flexible working — three days in the central London office, two from home, with flexible hours.
