About Us

We love what we do. Emperor is founded on a culture that has at its core the idea of creating great work and delivering a great experience for everyone involved in that work, that’s our clients, our people and our partners.

Emperor is an employee owned strategic creative consultancy. We specialise in reporting, digital, engagement and brand communications and operate from offices in London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester and Dubai.

Purpose

We are looking for a French speaking Senior Account Manager to join our client services team, to be based in our Edinburgh office working across one of largest corporate annual reporting clients.

The role of Senior Account Manager is three-fold:

  1. Project Lead and Programme Manager – exceptional clients will demand exceptional delivery skills. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to lead showcase projects which demand hands on involvement from an experienced member of the team. You will also be expected to act as a Programme Manager, ensuring different work streams dovetail effectively and taking ultimate responsibility when overseeing the work of individual account/project managers. This is an integrated role managing accounts which incorporate brand & marcomms, engagement, reporting and digital elements.

  2. Client service – Emperor prides itself on its client service and it is a key reason why clients choose to work with us. You will be organized and efficient in your communication/documentation and, most of all, personable in the way you work with clients and colleagues. Relationships matter and when something is in doubt or a deadline is looming you will instinctively pick up the phone rather than rely on email. Delivery alone isn’t enough, we want our clients to want to work with us again and again.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
