Senior Account Manager, Healthcare, Life Science & Technology PR/Communications
Small, independent, integrated consultancy spanning PR and content marketing (digital and traditional) for a genuinely varied client base: biotech, diagnostics, scientific instrumentation, CROs and health charities. Flat structure: a couple of Account Directors with teams, everyone reporting straight to the two founders. There are genuinely no politics and no long hours.
The role:
- You’ll run integrated programmes end to end
- Be the client’s trusted point of contact
- Start shaping strategy rather than just delivering it
- Get properly involved in new business

- Write copy
- Build and write slide decks covering strategy and tactical plans
- Produce reporting, comprehensive media plans and strategies
- Write and deliver content (long and short form)
- Interview spokespeople
- Prepare media and marketing materials
Senior day-to-day lead on your accounts, with an AD above you who wants you to grow rather than keep you in your lane.
Who it suits:
A Senior Account Manager (or a strong AM ready to step up) from a large ethical/Rx or healthcare comms agency who is very good at the work but has had enough of the pace, the hierarchy and the hours. If you want to do high-quality thinking for interesting clients in a kinder environment, with a genuine route to AD, this is the one.

Essential:
- Solid agency experience in Rx/ethical pharma or healthcare communications
- A science background
- Confidence as the senior day-to-day client lead
- Strong writing and content instincts
- An appetite for new business
