Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Department: Sales & Business Development

Industry Sector: IT Reseller & Hardware Distribution

Location: On-site / Hybrid

Role Overview

The Senior Account Manager is a peer-level leadership role alongside the Supply Chain Manager, responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key enterprise accounts, and developing high-value client relationships within the IT reseller and hardware distribution space. Holding a senior cadre status, this role demands a seasoned sales strategist who can bridge client technology needs with hardware distribution capabilities, complex solutions, and vendor partner ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of enterprise and tier-1 accounts, serving as the primary commercial and strategic contact.
  • Pipeline & Revenue Generation: Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across enterprise hardware, infrastructure solutions, networking, and lifecycle services to achieve target margins and revenue quotas.
  • Vendor Ecosystem Collaboration: Partner with major OEMs and hardware distributors to leverage deal registration programs, joint incentives, and channel rebates.
  • Contract Negotiation & Bidding: Lead complex commercial negotiations, framework agreements, and formal Request for Proposal (RFP) / Request for Quote (RFQ) processes.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with supply chain, procurement, and technical pre-sales teams to ensure client hardware orders, custom configurations, and delivery schedules are met seamlessly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
