Purpose Statement
We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Account Manager to build and nurture lasting client relationships while driving positive business outcomes. You will work closely with clients across the Legal industry, ensuring their needs are met and opportunities for growth are realised.
With proven experience in the Microsoft partner channel and managing multiple accounts of varying complexity, you’ll own the commercial health of your accounts, covering client satisfaction, client revenue retention, and growth. You’ll oversee performance, mitigate risks, and strengthen partnerships. Position Overview
This position reports directly to the Sales Director (UK&I) and does not include direct line management responsibilities. This person will be required to be based in the UK. Normal working hours apply to this role (9am-5:30pm UK time) however there may be times where you need to work outside of our usual working hours.
You will work in an independent, supportive environment with great growth potential. - Own the overall relationship with allocated accounts, acting as the main point of contact and escalation.
- Build strong, trusted stakeholder relationships (including executive sponsors) to influence IT strategy and align with business goals.
- Conduct regular client engagements and quarterly business reviews to share performance insights and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop strategic account plans, manage pipelines/forecasts, and drive revenue through upsell and cross-sell.
- Lead discovery sessions with pre-sales to understand client business processes and shape future plans and IT strategies.
- Propose tailored solutions to support client transformation.
- Communicate Microsoft and partner product developments to ensure consistent messaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery, commercial alignment, and timely invoicing.
- Prepare proposals, manage quotes/orders in D365 CE, and maintain accurate account data.
- Support marketing by securing case studies, contributing to events, and promoting new services.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities, driving solutions and improvements.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness by translating client business drivers into meaningful solutions and revenue.
Skills & Experience
- Experience managing and expanding accounts within the Legal industry.
- Track record of managing complex accounts, driving client success, and closing solution-based sales.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to translate client business drivers and risks into upsell and growth opportunities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with credibility to operate confidently at senior and executive levels.
- Consultative approach, asking the right questions and building trusted, long-term partnerships.
- Adaptable, proactive, and resilient, with a drive to learn, embrace feedback, and continuously improve.
- Organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks, balancing client needs and internal objectives.
- Collaborative team player, capable of working independently and across global teams.
- Willingness to support new business development and contribute to bid or pursuit activities.
- Energetic, committed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
