Description
As an Account Manager (AM) within Emerson's Test & Measurement (T&M) Business Unit (formerly NI), you will join a high-performance sales organization that represents a trusted, industry-leading brand known for innovative products, robust platform solutions, and exceptional technical depth.
This role focuses on customer ownership supporting customers across multiple business units like Transportation, Aero Space and Defence, Semiconductor, and Portfolio. You will drive growth, shape customer relationships, and work across a cross-functional team to execute account plans that expand Emerson’s footprint in key customers.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, distribution, and integration partners, and business unit leaders and act as a key contributor to Emerson T&M’s go-to-market strategy. Your leadership, strategic mindset, high execution drive, and relationship-building skills will influence not only customer outcomes but also internal alignment across EMEA.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
Drive Customer Growth & Strategic Execution
- Develop and execute creative, high-impact account strategies and plans that consistently generate strong (double-digit) growth.
- Identify and articulate Emerson T&M’s differentiated value to influence technical and business decision-makers at multiple levels.
- Lead customer engagements through platform discussions, strategic consulting, and technical conversations on innovative test technologies.

Own Customer Relationships
- Build, deepen, and maintain trusted senior-level relationships across accounts.
- Align executives between Emerson T&M and customer organizations, ensuring open communication and long-term strategic alignment.
- Orchestrate internal and external stakeholders to deliver cohesive, value-driven outcomes.
Lead Account Team Collaboration
- Drive a coordinated, company-wide strategy through collaboration with:
- Engineering & Technical Consultants
- Business Development Managers
- Marketing teams
- Partners and Channel Ecosystem
- Coach and influence cross-functional teams, celebrating shared wins and developing team capabilities.
Partner & Ecosystem Engagement
- Work proactively with Emerson’s Portfolio Business Unit to expand broad-based opportunities.
- Engage partners to drive additional value, enable scaling, and ensure sustained customer success.

For This Role, You Will Need

- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience in B2B high-tech sales or test engineering using NI/Emerson T&M products.
- Residence in Sweden Gothenburg, Denmark Copenhagen, Norway Oslo, or Reading UK.
- Native or near-native local language skills.
- Strong English proficiency for internal and global collaboration.
- High willingness to travel (3+ days per week).
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
- Experience growing large accounts—especially in Transportation, Aerospace-Defence sectors, or industrial portfolio customers.
- Demonstrated track record of year-over-year revenue growth in complex solution sales.
- Experience leading or influencing cross-functional account teams (sales, engineering, operations, marketing).
