Overview
The Role and What You’ll Do:
160over90 is seeking a Senior Account Manager who will be responsible for the strategy and day-to-day activation related to a sponsorship marketing initiatives.
- Day-to-day management of a client's sponsorship portfolio and activation around it with a focus on their UEFA Women’s Football and NFL partnerships
- Coordinate and manage the roster of female footballers and manage their activations / appearances with local markets
- Interact daily with client and all appropriate agencies/properties to support sponsorship programming initiatives
- Develop comprehensive activation programs around local sponsorships keeping in mind multiple channels (PR, influencer, experiential, content, etc.)
- Assist in other areas of the account, beyond local sponsorships, as needed and as directed by the Account Director
- Manage the UEFA and NFL approvals process in partnership with the client and their B2B / B2C partners, athletes and rightsholder stakeholders by having an in-depth knowledge of activation guidelines
- Track, manage, update and recap sponsorship / talent activations, approvals and deliverables
- Liaise with client hub to support in activating their partnerships with clients and partners across Europe to ensure all sponsorship rights are fully utilised and leveraged to drive client business results
- Support the sell-in of the partnerships to the wider businesses of the client
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of a client’s sports sponsorships, including interfacing with clients and brand teams, other account team members, and all appropriate agencies/properties to support sponsorship initiatives.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of materials to support sponsorship initiatives and client strategy, including preparing marketing activation presentations, guideline documents and materials to be presented to the client, their partners and relevant stakeholders
- Manage finance topics such as processing talent invoices, client POs, vendor forms and the like
- Assist in the strategic development and implementation of sponsorship initiatives, including customized programs/promotions with the client / their partners
- Coordinate with internal teams i.e. experiential, social, or regional sponsorship leads to ensure the client’s brand and sports properties are accurately represented, and managing projects related to sports
- Interact with and provide day-to-day communication to client, vendors, agencies, agents as needed
- Provide and incorporate general insight and industry best practices

Qualifications
You Have These:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 6-10 years of agency or client-based sponsorship account management experience in the sports and entertainment industries (specific disciplines could include, sponsorship marketing or event marketing)
- Understanding the business of sports and specifically women’s football is a plus
- Experience working with and managing sports talent
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Superior client relationship skills
- Ability to work and manage multiple stakeholders
- Managed the development and implementation of sponsorship marketing strategy and activation on behalf of client or company
- Prior experience managing day-to-day relationships with client, agency(s) and vendors
- Leadership or Participation in sponsorship contract negotiations
- Practical experience with on-site event marketing operations and logistics
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups
- Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel 30% of the time (estimated)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
