Overview

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in partnerships, sponsorship activation, and property management, with direct professional experience in rugby required. We are looking for someone who understands both the strategic opportunity and operational complexity of a major global sports partnership and can confidently lead workstreams, counsel clients, manage senior stakeholders, and connect activity across an integrated global team. Experience working with rugby talent, athletes, or ambassadors would be an additional advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key day-to-day client contact, building relationships and providing proactive, thoughtful partnership counsel.
  • Support the development and delivery of the client's global rugby partnership strategy, ensuring activity aligns with broader brand and business objectives.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with the rightsholder and relevant partners, maintaining clear communication, accountability, and momentum across workstreams.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the client's contractual rights and assets and help identify opportunities to maximize their strategic and commercial value.
  • Lead ongoing rights and asset management, including usage planning, approvals, tracking, and reporting.
  • Support long-range planning and delivery for major rugby tournaments and other partnership moments, working across global, regional, and local stakeholders.
  • Help shape activation recommendations that bring the partnership to life across markets and audiences while maintaining consistency with the global strategy.
  • Coordinate planning related to ticketing, hospitality, talent, content, brand integration, and other partnership assets in collaboration with specialist agency teams and external partners.
  • Partner closely with regional and market teams to translate global strategy into locally relevant opportunities and programs.
  • Develop client-ready recommendations, presentations, POVs, status materials, and recaps that clearly communicate opportunities, decisions, and next steps.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, and workstreams across multiple stakeholders, anticipating issues and identifying solutions before they become barriers.
  • Support approvals and property discussions as needed, working with senior agency leadership and relevant subject-matter experts.
  • Collaborate across 160over90's strategy, creative, experiential, communications, talent, and other specialist capabilities to deliver integrated partnership solutions.
  • Maintain an informed perspective on developments across rugby, sports sponsorship, and the broader cultural landscape, proactively identifying opportunities relevant to the client and partnership.
  • Support tournament-time and on-site partnership management as required, including coordination with the client, rightsholder, agency teams, and external partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
