The role

Woodrow is looking for a strong PR and media specialist with additional expertise in social and digital communications.

This is not a pure digital role. We are looking for someone who understands how to shape stories, earn media attention, advise clients and deliver strong communications work, while also bringing confidence across digital channels, social content and online audience engagement.

You will work across client accounts, helping to develop media strategies, pitch stories, manage campaigns and produce high-quality written materials. Alongside this, you will help clients think more clearly about how their stories show up online, particularly across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube and other relevant platforms.

You should be a strong writer, confident media operator and organised account lead. You will also need good digital judgement: what works on different platforms, how social content supports wider PR activity, and how performance data can sharpen future work.

This is a role for someone who can bridge traditional media relations and modern digital communications. You will help Woodrow deliver stronger integrated work across media, social and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

PR, media and campaign delivery

You will help lead media and communications activity across client accounts.

You will be expected to:

  • Develop media strategies that support client objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong journalist relationships.
  • Identify news hooks, story angles and timely media opportunities.
  • Draft pitches, press materials, briefing notes, messaging and client updates.
  • Secure relevant media opportunities for clients across national, trade, sector and international media.
  • Help clients understand what makes a story credible, timely and useful.
  • Manage client workstreams so activity is delivered on time and to a high standard.

Digital and social communications

You will bring specialist digital knowledge into wider PR and communications work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
