Senior Account Manager – Sports Marketing
London | Hybrid
Up to £50,000
We’re working with a brilliant high-growth sports and entertainment agency looking for a Senior Account Manager to join its team.
You’ll work across a portfolio of sports partnerships (including women's sports) helping brands turn their sponsorships into creative, integrated marketing campaigns. This is much more than a traditional sponsorship rights-management role. You’ll be working on campaigns spanning content, social, influencers and talent, experiential, live events, production, PR/earned and ATL – taking a sponsorship platform and finding interesting, relevant ways for brands to engage fans and wider audiences.
The role
You’ll take the day-to-day lead across key client accounts, helping shape and deliver campaigns around major sporting properties. The work is varied and could include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Developing fan-facing campaigns around high-profile sports partnerships
- Creating grassroots, community and participation-led activations
- Producing social and digital content with athletes, ambassadors, creators and influencers
- Managing content shoots and production
- Delivering experiential and live activations around key sporting moments
- Developing campaigns across ATL, PR/earned, social, digital and content
- Managing rights-holder relationships, IP and approvals, while identifying ways to make sponsorship assets work harder
- Taking campaigns from initial brief and creative idea through to production and delivery
You’ll work closely with clients, rights holders, creatives, producers and other agency partners, bringing all the different elements of a campaign together.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll already be an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within a sports, sponsorship or integrated marketing agency. Sponsorship experience is important you need to understand rights holders, IP and how sports partnerships work but we’re looking for someone with a much broader marketing skillset. Someone who has purely managed sponsorship rights won’t be right for this role. You’ll need experience delivering integrated campaigns and be comfortable working across content, social, influencers, experiential, production, PR and ATL. You’ll also be strong with clients, highly organised, comfortable managing multiple moving parts and confident contributing to creative ideas.
