About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, sales-savvy professional based in the United Kingdom to lead the commercial efforts for our Countable PCR platform. You’ll be at the forefront of introducing a new technology to market—bringing creativity, technical know-how, and genuine customer focus to every interaction. If you have experience selling new technologies, particularly in instrumentation and consumable sales, and you’re excited by the challenge of developing new business, we’d love to meet you. Experience in biopharma, especially with gene therapy or oncology applications, is critical to success in this position.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to Director of Sales, EMEA, you’ll be responsible for the following:

  • Discover & Close New Business: Identify and nurture leads, turning opportunities into lasting partnerships.
  • Be a Great Ambassador: Represent Countable Labs at meetings, demonstrations, and scientific conferences with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Develop strong customer connections to ensure our products are used effectively, driving ongoing success post-sale.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work hand-in-hand with our field application scientists and product managers during technical calls and demos.
  • Communicate Our Value: Ensure customers fully understand our unique value proposition, features, and competitive advantages, while also gathering feedback to help us continuously improve.
  • Track & Report: Provide monthly KPI updates and accurate sales forecasts for both instruments, consumables, and assay service projects.
  • Manage Your Pipeline: Use SFDC to oversee all active leads, opportunities, and customer relationships, using dashboards to track progress.
  • Attend regional conferences, and meetings, organize local seminars and events to foster new relationships, and strengthen opportunity funnel.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
