Join us as a Senior Account Manager at Aptitude Software
Where you will play a strategic and commercially focused role in managing and growing a portfolio of enterprise clients. You will be responsible for building senior stakeholder relationships, driving account growth, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring clients realise long-term value from Aptitude’s solutions.
This role is focused on commercial account ownership, revenue growth, strategic relationship management, and client retention across Aptitude’s global customer base.
You Will Be:
- Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, with ownership of client relationships, commercial performance, and long-term account strategy
- Building strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and acting as a strategic advisor across finance, operations, and technology functions
- Identifying upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities across Aptitude’s product suite to drive incremental revenue growth
- Leading commercial discussions including renewals, pricing negotiations, contract extensions, and account planning activities
- Developing and executing strategic account plans aligned to client priorities and business objectives
- Driving high levels of client retention and customer satisfaction across your account portfolio
- Partnering closely with Product, Professional Services, Support, and Partnerships teams to ensure successful delivery and ongoing client value.
- Managing escalations effectively and acting as a senior point of contact for key client stakeholders
- Providing accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and account reporting to senior leadership
- Representing Aptitude and Fynapse professionally at executive-level meetings, client reviews, and industry events
- Maintaining a strong understanding of Aptitude’s product suite, market positioning, and broader finance technology landscape
- Managing a strategic book of business with ownership for achieving a 12% annual growth target, balancing retention protection with proactive expansion and commercial development

Where You’ll Be:
This role is based from our London office and we support hybrid working. To us at Aptitude, hybrid working means that our employees come together for 2-days per week at their local office. It’s an opportunity for our teams to collaborate, solve problems together and to be engaged and involved in the wider community of our business. We ask employees to come into the office every Wednesday and give you the flexibility to choose your other day.

What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Enterprise Sales, Strategic Accounts, or a commercially focused client-facing role within SaaS or fintech
- Proven experience managing large enterprise accounts and driving revenue growth within existing customer bases
- Strong commercial acumen with experience owning renewals, upselling, and complex commercial negotiations
- Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and C-suite executives
- Ability to manage multiple strategic accounts within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience within financial technology, enterprise software, ERP, or finance transformation environments is highly desirable
- Entrepreneurial attitude with a collaborative, high-performance approach to client management
