Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Major Players are partnering with one of the world’s fastest-growing independent experiential and youth marketing agencies to recruit for a Senior Account Manager. This is a hands-on, mainly office-based role sitting within the client services account team, with field work where campaigns require it and regular UK and international travel for client meetings, campaign delivery, conferences, and events.
You’d understand integrated campaigns and the marketing mix, with a strong grasp of student brand ambassador programmes and how they build authentic, scalable engagement with youth audiences. Further to this, you’d be happy working with alcohol brands and in alcohol-led environments (licensed venues, events, and activations).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end, multi-channel campaigns that meet the client brief, suit the target audience, and achieve agreed objectives and KPIs, with clear measurement frameworks and reporting.
- Apply strong knowledge of student brand ambassador programmes across planning, activation, management, and evaluation.
- Work effectively across global teams and markets, developing and deploying practical toolkits for consistent regional delivery, and responding promptly to market requests within global strategy, budgets, and guidelines.
- Plan and manage campaign budgets, client conferences, and events, and the retention, profitability, and growth of client accounts.
- Manage the performance and development of junior team members, and identify and convert new business opportunities through proposals and pitches.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
