A growing and successful accountancy practice based in Plymouth is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Role Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts
- Tax compliance across both personal and corporate tax
- Overseeing VAT, Bookkeeping, and wider services
- Acting as key support to the firm's managers and partners
- Increasing client management responsibility
- Developing and mentoring teams

Job Description Joining as a Senior Accountant based from the firm's Plymouth offices, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts
- Personal and corporate tax compliance
- Overseeing wider services
- Acting for clients across varied industries and turnover ranges
- Increasing client management responsibility
- Helping develop and mentor teams
- Progressing in your accountancy practice career within a successful and growing, chartered firm of accountants.
Profile
- Qualified, or part/finalist across any of AAT, ATT, ACA / ACCA, etc., or developed your career through experience only to date.
- Career background within accounts/tax and general accountancy practice service delivery to wide-ranging sole trade, partnership, and limited company clients.
- Developed your career to around the Senior Accountant level and looking for a challenging new career opportunity.
- Full or Part-time working hours can be explored and molded around the preferences of the right candidate.

Job Offer
- Circa £28,000 - £38,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
