The Role

Maintain core accounting records, ensuring invoices, expenses, payments and other transactions are posted accurately. Monitor accounts payable and receivable, follow up collections and payments, and maintain sales reporting. Prepare accruals and prepayments, complete VAT and other statutory reports, and keep fixed-asset accounting up to date. Complete bank and cash reconciliations and prepare cash reporting. Assist with management accounts and other financial reports, and respond to audit enquiries. Support other departments with operational finance questions and deputise for the Financial Manager when needed.

What We're Looking For

At least four years of accounting experience, including work in a fast-moving, growing business. Hands-on Oracle NetSuite experience, which is an essential requirement, and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the accuracy needed to maintain dependable records. Clear communication, good organisation and the ability to manage your time without close supervision. Sound judgement when handling confidential financial information.

Useful Additional Experience

A completed or in-progress professional accounting qualification is welcome, rather than mandatory. Audit experience, finance software implementations, familiarity with FX spot trades and forwards, or experience using Planful, Concord and AP/AR tools would also be useful.
