Senior Accountant
Sheffield - Hybrid
£35K-£45K
We’re working with a well-established accountancy practice in Sheffield that is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, taking ownership of their work and getting involved in more than just the numbers.
The Role
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of businesses
- Preparing corporation tax returns
- Assisting with VAT returns and management accounts
- Reviewing work and supporting more junior members of the team
- Dealing directly with client queries
- Providing clients with general accounting and business advice
- Managing your own workload and keeping on top of deadlines

The Requirements:
- Recent accountancy practice experience who is confident managing their own client portfolio
- ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience, with strong accounts experience and a good understanding of UK accounting and tax
- Someone who enjoys the client-facing side of practice and wants to continue developing their career
