Job Title: Senior Accountant

Our client, a growing media company, is looking for a talented Senior Accountant to join their team on a remote basis. You will work closely with the finance and operations teams to assist with the month-end close process and ensure timely financial reporting. This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a larger creative organisation and be a crucial part in building out an accounting team.
Description
The responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to bring the accounting function in-house.
- Assist with financial record keeping, including ledger entries in accordance with standards.
- Perform accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Support accounts payable processes including vendor set up and invoice processing.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial tasks.

Skills
The skills of the Senior Accountant include, but are not limited to:
- ACCA / CIMA Finalist or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role with strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Previous experience with royalties is beneficial.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work and communicate collaboratively across all departments.
