The Opportunity

We're partnering exclusively with one of the world's fastest-growing technology businesses as they continue their journey towards becoming a category-defining global organisation.

Having experienced exceptional growth, the business is now looking to appoint an ambitious, practice-trained finance professional to help design, build and scale a world-class financial control environment.

This is not a traditional Financial Controller position focused on maintaining established processes. Instead, we're seeking someone who thrives in building, creating structure in fast-moving environments, and implementing best-in-class controls that support significant future growth.

This opportunity would suit a second or third mover from practice who combines strong technical accounting credentials with the desire to operate within a highly entrepreneurial, rapidly scaling business.

The Role

Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will:

  • Design and implement scalable financial controls across a growing international business
  • Build and enhance finance processes in preparation for future public company requirements
  • Lead process improvement initiatives across multiple finance workstreams
  • Strengthen the control framework and governance environment
  • Support system implementations and automation projects
  • Partner with stakeholders across finance, operations and technology
  • Drive efficiencies and help establish best-in-class reporting and financial management processes
  • Contribute to IPO readiness initiatives and wider finance transformation projects
  • Identify risks and proactively implement solutions before they become issues

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Makes This Different?

This is an opportunity to join a genuinely high-performing business at a pivotal stage in its evolution. You'll be surrounded by ambitious people, operate at pace, and have the chance to shape the finance function rather than inherit it.

Apply

If you're a high-achieving ACA seeking a role where you can build, influence and create lasting impact within one of the most exciting growth stories in technology, we'd love to hear from you.
