Senior Accountant Altrincham

This could be a great opportunity to join a well-established, friendly accountancy firm in Altrincham, Trafford.
They’re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis.
The Role
You’ll work with a varied portfolio of clients, taking ownership of their accounts and helping them with their wider financial needs.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing and reviewing accounts and financial statements
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Providing clients with advice and support
- Reviewing work and supporting junior team members
- Managing deadlines and making sure work is completed accurately
- Working closely with the wider team to deliver a great service

What are they looking for?
You’ll ideally have:
- Solid experience working as a Senior Accountant in practice
- Good knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulations
- Experience preparing and analysing financial statements
- Confidence managing multiple clients and deadlines
- The ability to review and support junior members of the team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks or Xero
