Senior Accountant

Description
- Reviewing statutory accounts produced by junior team members.
- Identifying and addressing discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial records.
- Providing feedback and guidance to junior team members.
- Collaborating with internal departments to streamline accounting processes.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory changes.
- Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
- Ensuring timely completion of all account reviews and related tasks.
- Supporting the accounting team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Profile
A Successful Senior Accountant Should Have
- A professional qualification in accounting, such as ACCA or ACA.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in reviewing financial accounts within the professional services sector.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
