About the role
This is a varied Accounts & Audit position where you'll work with a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors. The role is ideal for someone who already has a accounts background but is keen to become more involved in audit and advisory assignments to develop into a well-rounded practice professional.

Working with larger and more complex clients than you'll often find in a traditional high street practice, you'll gain exposure to a wide variety of assignments, helping to broaden both your technical knowledge and commercial understanding.
You'll be responsible for preparing statutory accounts, management accounts and corporation tax computations, whilst also assisting with audit assignments and gradually taking on more responsibility as your experience grows. You'll work closely with experienced managers who will provide ongoing support and mentoring.
Experience needed
- Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- Experience preparing statutory accounts
- Some exposure to audit is beneficial, but not essential
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified by experience will all be considered
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to develop your audit experience
