We’re working with an established international group to recruit a Senior Accountant into their growing finance team.

This is a broad role covering financial and management accounting, month-end reporting, VAT, audit, intercompany accounting and financial controls, with exposure to overseas entities and branches.

The role will include:

  • Preparation of monthly financial and management accounts
  • Month-end and year-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals
  • Consolidation and IFRS adjustments for group reporting
  • Management of intercompany accounts and recharges
  • Preparation of UK and European VAT returns, Intrastat and ESL
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Managing the external audit process
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Supporting overseas finance teams and working with external tax advisers
  • Providing finance and ERP support across the wider business
  • Supporting ERP developments and process improvements
  • Providing back-up support to treasury operations

About you:

  • Qualified accountant with 3+ years' post-qualified experience
  • Strong financial accounting and month-end experience
  • Strong experience with ledgers and reconciliations
  • Experience working with an integrated ERP system
  • Good understanding of IFRS and FRS 102
