About the Role
We are partnering with a premier AI research lab to engage experienced accounting professionals across various domains—including audit, tax, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and controllership. In this remote opportunity, you will help build advanced AI systems by translating complex financial decision-making and everyday accounting workflows into structured, high-quality training data.
Core Responsibilities
- Design realistic accounting scenarios based on your daily workflows, such as financial statement preparation, journal entries, tax filings, and month-end close.
- Review AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, professional judgment, and strict compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Develop structured examples that accurately reflect how seasoned accountants reason through complex financial problems.
- Provide detailed written feedback to enhance AI performance in specialized accounting tasks.

Candidate Profile
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in accounting, audit, tax, bookkeeping, or finance operations.
- Credentials: Active professional credential is required (ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA, EA, or equivalent).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Excel).
- Soft Skills: Strong written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Project Details & Compensation
- Format: 100% remote, independent contractor position.
- Compensation: Highly lucrative project-based compensation of $700 per completed task.
- Payments: Processed securely and weekly via Stripe or Wise.
- Growth: Strong contributors will have the opportunity to advance into reviewer, lead, and domain-expert roles.
- Confidentiality: Your work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information from your current employer.
