Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Senior Financial Reporting Accountant required for a Listed Global Technology business based in Slough!

£65,000 - £75,000 + bonus and benefits, dependent on experience

Stanton House is partnering with a market-leading, publicly listed technology services business undergoing a significant period of growth and transformation.

The organisation operates at substantial scale, generating multi-billion-pound revenues and serving a broad customer base across a resilient and highly recurring sector. Having delivered exceptional organic growth over a number of years, the business is now entering a new phase driven by both continued expansion and strategic acquisitions.

With ambitious growth targets, increasing international complexity, and a strong focus on governance and financial control, the finance function is expanding to support the next stage of the company's journey.

We are seeking a technically strong Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join a growing financial reporting and control function.

This position sits at the centre of the organisation's reporting framework and will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and control of financial reporting across a complex and expanding business.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of technical accounting matters, regulatory developments, business initiatives and acquisition-related activities. The environment is best suited to individuals who enjoy solving technical problems, taking ownership of deliverables and operating with a high degree of autonomy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
