Senior Accountant (Interim)
£70,000-75,000 | 9-Month FTC | Central London
I’m recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a large, established business in Central London on a 9-month fixed-term contract.
This is a great opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys taking ownership and wants to work within a sizeable, complex group environment.
The role will focus heavily on statutory reporting, with responsibility for preparing accounts across 100+ entities in the UK and Jersey.
You’ll be joining an experienced finance team, but this is very much a role for someone who can hit the ground running, work independently and manage a significant workload with confidence.

The Role Will Include:
- Preparing statutory accounts across a large portfolio of entities
- Managing the statutory reporting timetable and filing deadlines
- Preparing supporting schedules and technical accounting papers
- Working closely with external auditors
- Resolving technical accounting and reporting issues
- Liaising with finance teams and stakeholders across the wider group
- Helping improve reporting processes and controls
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong statutory accounts experience
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge
- Experience working across multiple entities
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
- Someone proactive, organised and comfortable working autonomously
- A genuine self-starter who can quickly get up to speed
