Are you an experienced accountant who enjoys working closely with clients? At the Numbers Studio, we’re looking for a Senior Accountant/Finance Business Partner to become the trusted financial support for a portfolio of ambitious businesses. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves building relationships, advising clients and helping businesses succeed, overseeing and supporting the work rather than being tied up in day-to-day bookkeeping and compliance.

You’ll work directly with business owners, helping them understand their numbers, make better decisions and grow with confidence. You’ll be their go-to when they want a clearer picture of what’s going on in their business financially.

While our internal delivery teams take care of the technical production, your role is to make sure clients receive the very best advice, support and communication.

The Role:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will:

  • Be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners
  • Translate financial information into clear, practical advice
  • Lead quarterly and annual planning conversations through management accounts
  • Identify opportunities, risks and insights that help clients grow
  • Coordinate with our internal bookkeeping, payroll and accounts teams
  • Champion your clients internally and ensure they receive exceptional service
  • Monitor clients accounts including renewals, billing and overall engagement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
