Senior Accountant | 9 Month Initial Contract (Inside IR35) | >£465 | Hybrid (Remote / Central London HQ)

Sentinel are working closely with a globally leader in entertainment and gaming, to source a technically strong accounting professional who can operate independently, build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.

Key Tasks

  • Prepare and submit the monthly management reporting and statutory financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 (and relevant UK statutory reporting requirements)
  • Lead the year-end statutory audit process, acting as the primary finance counterpart to external auditors
  • Proactively manage audit activities, provide well-supported technical accounting positions
  • Maintain and govern SAP ERP finance master data
  • Perform financial analysis of balance sheet and profit & loss statements

Required Skills / Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Significant experience in financial accounting within a multinational environment (including preparation of statutory financial statements under FRS 102)
  • Proven experience managing external audits, with the confidence to discuss technical accounting matters with auditors
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ERP, finance master data governance is an advantage
