A rare opportunity to join an established, modern firm with a strong reputation for internal promotion. Due to ongoing growth, the firm is looking to recruit an ambitious ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist) with the potential to take on management responsibilities and grow with the firm.

The Role
You’ll work closely with a Partner and be involved in managing a portfolio of SME clients — typically sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
This is a varied position that combines technical work with client-facing responsibilities and people management. Key aspects include:
- Supporting the Partner in managing client relationships
- Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax work
- Helping to supervise and mentor junior team members
- Assisting in the future development of the firm, including business advisory work and (eventually) business development
- Audit is a minor part of the role so audit experience would be beneficial.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You
You will be ACA / ACCA qualified ( or a finalist ) with a General Practice background and have experience in dealing with the audit, accounting and tax requirements for small Owner Managed Businesses. The audit side is essential though not a major part of the role.
There is flexibility in the role and the firm can accommodate a finalist looking for a step up to senior level or an experienced senior. It is a varied and interesting role which will provide considerable client exposure and also the opportunity to get involved in business advisory work.
Experience in business development with the ability to maintain and develop the client base within the firm would be useful, but if you do not have this experience, the enthusiasm to be involved in business development would be of interest and mentoring will be provided.
