Transport Exchange Group Ltd (TEG) is looking for an exceptional newly qualified ACA who has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and is ready to accelerate their career within a growing technology and fintech SaaS company.

About the Role
Based at our King's Cross Head Office, the Senior Accountant will report directly to the Financial Controller and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, managing month-end close, maintaining balance sheet integrity and strengthening financial controls using Xero.
This is far more than a traditional accounting role. It has been designed as an accelerated development opportunity, with the expectation that the successful candidate will progress into a Financial Controller role within 12–18 months, subject to performance.
Working closely with the Finance and Senior Leadership team, you will help drive financial excellence, improve reporting processes, support strategic decision-making and contribute to the continued growth of our leading technology businesses.

Following successful completion of your six-month probation period, you will begin studying towards becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
The Company will fully fund your qualification through BPP Professional Education, provide one paid study day each week and support you throughout your qualification journey.

Starting at £50,000, the successful candidate will benefit from a structured salary progression, with the opportunity to earn over £90,000 through promotion to Financial Controller and successful completion of fully funded CTA qualifications.

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for exceptional individuals with the ambition and potential to become future finance leaders.
To be considered, applicants should have:
- Newly qualified ACA (ICAEW or equivalent)
- Experience gained within a Top 4 accounting firm
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience with, or a good working knowledge of Xero
- Excellent analytical and Excel skills
- A proactive approach and the ambition to build a long-term career in senior finance leadership
- Must have the right to work in the UK
