About the Role

Our client is a leading, independent global fund administrator delivering specialized technology and high-touch operational solutions to premier private credit, private debt, and alternative asset managers. Backed by advanced proprietary systems and a team of industry experts, the firm provides end-to-end administration, operations outsourcing, and custom tech solutions tailored to complex financial strategies.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to oversee fund administration for a dynamic portfolio of complex investment funds, with a heavy emphasis on private credit strategies. In this role, you will lead portfolio valuations and NAV calculations, maintain client and investor relationships, drive new business integrations, and collaborate on systems development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • NAV Calculation & Portfolio Valuation: Perform end-to-end NAV calculations (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly) for complex private credit and alternative funds. Review fund offering documents to ensure operational adherence, track cash/capital events, execute three-way reconciliations (cash, assets, liabilities), calculate complex fee structures (management, performance, and feeder-specific allocations), and issue estimated/final NAVs.
  • Financial Reporting & Audit: Assist with the preparation and review of audited financial statements. Coordinate year-end and interim audit processes, completing confirm requests and ensuring smooth controls testing.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as a primary operational contact for fund managers, prime brokers, custodians, and investors. Respond to investor due diligence requests, manage recurring fee payments, and handle investor communications and capital event allocations.
  • Compliance & Onboarding: Assist with new client conversions and portfolio reconciliations. Ensure ongoing AML/KYC compliance and alignment with fund agreements.
  • Technology & Quality Assurance: Participate in systems development projects, conduct QA testing on internal software updates, and collaborate with IT to optimize administration tools.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
