We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading independent accountancy firm in Northampton for a Senior Accountant with solid experience in practice and an eye on career progression.

👥 About the role
You’ll be working closely with a broad range of clients — from sole traders and partnerships to OMBs, larger businesses, and HNWIs. This is a hands-on role in a supportive, forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts prep for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and charities
- Monthly/quarterly management accounts
- Workflow oversight and planning
- Client review meetings
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
You’ll report directly to the Partners and play a vital role in the delivery of accounts and tax services using tools like Sage and IRIS.
📌 Who we’re looking for
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist level)
- Experienced in practice (essential)
- Ideally with experience using CCH, Xero, and other cloud accounting software
- Someone confident, motivated, and ready to take the next step in their career
