Senior Accountant

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE

Location: Harrow

Permanent | Full-Time

The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of accounting services while acting as a trusted point of contact for clients. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and commercially valuable advice.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for a diverse client portfolio
  • Supporting the delivery of financial reporting and management information
  • Completing tax-related work and ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved
  • Managing client queries and building strong professional relationships
  • Reviewing financial records and identifying areas for improvement
  • Assisting with process improvements to enhance service delivery
  • Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team where required
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business

About You

The successful candidate will ideally bring experience from a professional services or client-focused finance background, with the confidence to manage workloads independently and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience operating at Senior Accountant level or within a similar position
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
  • Experience preparing accounts and supporting compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas and improvements

Experience working with businesses within the healthcare industry would be advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable experience will also be considered.
