Senior Accountant/Consultant
RemX is seeking a Senior Accountant/Consultant to join the team in Plymouth, MA area!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Prepare monthly journal entries and complete account reconciliations
- Ensure that all financial information is accurate in compliance with company policy and in accordance with GAAP
- Investigate significant variances or unexpected results
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to requests from the Company’s internal and external auditors as necessary
- Provide support for the annual corporate tax return and respond to requests from Corporate Tax as necessary
- Prepare reports and analysis as requested by management
- Assist with strengthening internal processes and controls for financial reporting
- Maintain documentation for weekly, monthly, and quarterly SOX procedures
- Work independently on delegated assignments and collaboratively with and cross-train junior staff

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in public or private accounting
- Public accounting and audit experience preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with general ledger and financial reporting systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with a strong internal control environment
- Experience with multiple entity/subsidiary organizations and intercompany transactions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
