Overview

We are seeking a fully qualified Senior Associate to join the Accounts & Financial Reporting team for a client. The role focuses on the preparation of statutory accounts, financial reporting, and delivering high-quality finance support to a diverse client portfolio. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to undertake client secondments, providing hands-on support within client finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
  • Assist with management accounts preparation and financial analysis.
  • Liaise with clients to obtain financial information and resolve accounting queries.
  • Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules.
  • Support audit processes by preparing working papers and responding to audit requests.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and in line with regulatory and internal quality standards.
  • Participate in client secondments, embedding within finance teams to support reporting, accounting, and business-as-usual activities.

Skills & Experience

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or finalist qualified by experience).
  • Experience in accounts preparation and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial controls.
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
