Senior Accountant Expert

About the Opportunity
micro1 is seeking experienced Senior Accountant Experts to contribute specialized accounting knowledge to a customer project focused on training and evaluating next-generation AI systems.
You will apply your professional expertise to review financial and accounting materials, assess complex business scenarios, provide high-quality feedback, and support the development of datasets used for AI training. No prior AI experience is required—your accounting expertise and professional judgment are what matter most.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate financial reports and statements for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with applicable accounting standards.
- Assess audit procedures and identify gaps, best practices, risks, and relevant regulatory considerations.
- Create and evaluate financial models, ensuring logical structure, accuracy, and actionable outputs.
- Review tax compliance practices and documentation, identifying potential risks and compliance issues.
- Analyze legal and financial documents for clarity, correctness, completeness, and regulatory alignment.
- Provide clear, constructive, and actionable written and verbal feedback on project materials.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout project engagements.
- Support the development and evaluation of AI training datasets using accounting expertise.
- Apply experience with processes such as data labeling, annotation, or model evaluation where applicable.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of corporate-level accounting experience with exposure to complex financial scenarios.
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting and accounting analysis.
- Solid understanding of audit procedures and regulatory considerations.
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance and related documentation.
- Ability to review and analyze legal and financial documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with data labeling, annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
- Experience providing actionable professional feedback on complex financial or business materials.
- Experience working with complex corporate accounting environments.
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and risk management.
- Adaptability and willingness to apply accounting expertise in technology-driven environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage independent project engagements with accuracy and reliability.
- Growth mindset and interest in contributing to AI training and evaluation initiatives.

Eligibility
- Professionals with 5+ years of corporate accounting experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates should have strong expertise across financial reporting, audit procedures, financial modeling, tax compliance, and financial/legal document review.
- Prior AI experience is not required.
