🚨 WE ARE HIRING – SENIOR ACCOUNTS OFFICER 🚨
📍 Head Office | Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
💷 Salary: From £34,500 – Negotiable depending on experience
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Accounts Officer to join our growing business immediately.
This is a key role within the organisation, requiring a hands on finance professional who can take ownership of the day to day finance function, maintain strong financial controls and provide accurate and timely financial information to senior management and Directors.
🔑 Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ commercial accounting experience.
- Experience as a Senior Accounts Officer, Accounts Manager or Finance Manager.
- Strong knowledge of Xero.
- Credit control experience is essential.
- Payroll knowledge and experience is essential.
- Experience preparing monthly management accounts and year-end accounts.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, PAYE and pensions.
- Experience with purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger and reconciliations.
- Experience with budgets, forecasting and cash-flow management.
- Part-qualified ACCA, AAT, IAB or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Commercially aware, proactive and able to work independently.
- Confident working with Directors, external accountants, auditors and professional advisers.
