Job Opportunity: Senior Payable Specialist
We are working with an amazing multi-site, PE-backed, Events and Hospitality business in the Cotswolds (Kingham/Chipping Norton) who are looking to recruit an experienced candidate for a minimum of 6 months for a project supporting them with an upcoming data migration project.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate would be on immediate to 2 weeks notice as they are keen to meet and onboard someone as soon as possible.
About the Role
This role would be ideal for a senior payable person who wants a more investigatory role alongside another candidate on the project where you have ownership of reconciliations of debit balances, inter-company rec's, speaking to teams internally, and zeroing off old balances so accurate data can be transferred onto a new system. You can also help review current AP processes to find any efficiencies and reduce errors when the system has been changed over. Therefore, this role isn't a normal invoice processing role, so it would be ideal for someone who wants an exciting change.

You don't need to have any systems migration or project experience—it would be beneficial, but what's important is a strong background of end-to-end AP, good communication, a desire to work in a company where you can feel valued, and interest in getting involved in data migration project work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries
- Reviewing processes and suggesting improvements for efficiencies
- Working with internal team and consultants who are implementing a new AI-based CRM which can read and process invoices
- Supporting supplier account maintenance and data cleansing
- Inter-company transactions
- Building positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the business
- Helping to improve Accounts Payable processes as the new system is introduced

Salary and Benefits
- Salary: £33k - £36k
- Initial Contract: 6 months, with the possibility of extension
- Location: Kingham / Chipping Norton area, Cotswolds (ideally within 45 mins commute)
- Work Schedule: On-site in the office 5 days per week with free parking; however, they have flexible hours in regards to start times (start earlier or later to fit around childcare or lifestyle)

Requirements
- At least 5+ years of accounts payable experience
- Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills in an end-to-end role
- A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn
