Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay Specialist
At URW, we're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to play a key role in supporting our UK portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex financial challenges, and wants to contribute to the ongoing evolution of our finance operations and systems.
Key Objective:
As a Senior Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities across our UK assets. Acting as a senior point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will take ownership of complex AP processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of our SAP S/4HANA environment.
Working closely with teams across Accounting, Controlling, Leasing, Operations, and Shopping Centre Management, you will help ensure seamless end-to-end financial processes while delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.
What you will be doing…
- Managing complex Procure-to-Pay activities, including invoice processing, coding, posting, reconciliations, exception handling, and month-end close activities.
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Accounts Payable transactions across the UK portfolio.
- Delivering timely and accurate AP support for month-end and year-end financial reporting.
- Acting as a senior escalation point for suppliers, resolving payment queries and driving issues through to completion.
- Supporting the continuous improvement and harmonisation of P2P processes across the region.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and optimisation of SAP S/4HANA.
- Building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure efficient end-to-end financial operations.
- Providing financial and operational support to URW centres when required.

Essential
- 5+ years' experience within Accounts Payable, Shared Services or Procure-to-Pay functions.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end P2P processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of transactional data.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working within a large, complex, international organisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
- Experience within the real estate, property, or retail sectors.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience supporting process transformation or systems improvement projects.
