Senior Accounts & Tax Assistant in Cardiff

As a Senior Accounts & Tax Assistant in Cardiff, you'll be focusing on Making Tax Digital, ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance for clients in the professional services sector. Your role will help streamline tax processes and provide essential support to the tax department.

Description

  • Prepare and review accounts, ensuring compliance with Making Tax Digital requirements.
  • Assist with tax returns and provide support for tax planning activities.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for clients.
  • Support the tax team with technical queries and compliance matters.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes and systems.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and clients are kept informed of progress.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members as needed.

Profile

A Successful Senior Accounts & Tax Assistant Should Have

  • Experience in accounts preparation and tax compliance.
  • Knowledge of Making Tax Digital processes and requirements.
  • A relevant qualification in accountancy or tax.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
