An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join my client, a leading global climate and performance engineering consultancy, working on ambitious building, infrastructure and environmental projects. The organisation has a strong international presence and is known for its technical expertise, innovation and collaborative approach.

The Senior Acoustic Consultant will join an established Noise, Acoustics and Vibration team, delivering technically challenging projects while developing client relationships and supporting colleagues.

The Role Will Involve

  • Defining Scopes of Work and Delivering Projects from Start to Finish
  • Undertaking and Guiding Environmental Noise and Vibration Measurements
  • Carrying out Environmental, Building and Architectural Acoustics Assessments
  • Acoustic Modelling using Industry-Standard Software such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA and NoiseMap
  • Designing Noise and Vibration Mitigation Solutions
  • Preparing Clear Technical Reports and Providing Specialist Advice
  • Guiding Small Project Teams and Developing Client Relationships

  • A Relevant Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a Related Discipline
  • 6 - 10 years Relevant Environmental and/or Building Acoustics Experience
  • Strong Knowledge of Acoustic Design, Noise Modelling and Calculations
  • Experience with Acoustic Modelling/Prediction Software
  • Excellent Communication, Organisation and Problem-Solving Skills
  • MIOA/FIOA Membership is Desirable
  • A Full, Clean UK Driving Licence
  • Full Right to Work in the UK Without Restrictions
  • Be Living Near the Brighton Office
