Your New Company

My client is a leading multidisciplinary environmental, engineering and consultancy organisation supporting high-profile public and private sector projects across the UK and Europe. With a strong reputation for technical excellence, innovation and sustainability, they work on major developments spanning infrastructure, residential, commercial, healthcare, education, defence and renewable energy sectors.

Their growing Acoustics team delivers specialist environmental noise, vibration and building acoustics services to a diverse client base, offering the opportunity to work on complex and nationally significant projects while benefiting from a collaborative and flexible working environment.

Your New Role

As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering technical noise and vibration consultancy services across a varied project portfolio. You'll take ownership of projects from proposal stage through to completion, providing robust technical advice, developing innovative mitigation strategies and influencing planning and development outcomes.

Working closely with internal multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders, you will manage client relationships, lead technical delivery and contribute to the continued growth of the acoustics business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering environmental noise, vibration and building acoustics assessments.
  • Managing projects from inception through to delivery, including programme, budget and quality control.
  • Producing high-quality technical reports and client-facing documentation.
  • Providing technical guidance on UK noise and vibration legislation, policy and standards.
  • Preparing fee proposals, tenders and supporting business development activities.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships across a range of sectors.
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting technical development within the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
