Our client is looking for a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Acoustic Consultant to develop their career within an independent consultancy delivering innovative building and environmental acoustic solutions across the UK and internationally.

With a reputation for working on diverse and technically challenging projects, our client offers exposure to award-winning residential developments, large-scale infrastructure schemes and complex commercial projects. As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, strengthen your technical expertise and play an important role in delivering high-quality acoustic solutions within a highly skilled team.

About You

  • A degree in Acoustics or a related STEM discipline, or an IOA Diploma.
  • Around 3-5 years experience within acoustic consultancy.
  • Strong technical knowledge across building acoustics and environmental acoustics.
  • Experience delivering acoustic assessments, technical calculations and high-quality client reports.
  • Confident managing projects, communicating with clients and working collaboratively with wider project teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

What to expect

  • Deliver building and environmental acoustic projects from inception through to completion.
  • Undertake noise surveys, acoustic assessments and technical calculations.
  • Prepare clear, technically robust reports and provide practical acoustic advice to clients.
  • Liaise with clients, architects and design teams throughout project delivery.
  • Support junior consultants and contribute to the continued development of the team.
  • Continue developing your expertise across a broad range of sectors and technically interesting projects.
