About the Role

We are looking for a talented Senior/Associate Acoustic Engineer with a focus on building acoustics to join our growing team.

You will become part of a collaborative team working on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including healthcare, hospitality, commercial workplaces, entertainment venues, education, and other complex developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams to develop innovative acoustic design solutions.
  • Leading small to medium-sized projects from concept through to completion, with support from senior colleagues where required.
  • Undertaking acoustic surveys and measurements across a variety of environments using industry-standard equipment and techniques.
  • Carrying out acoustic modelling, calculations, and analysis using specialist software to support design decisions.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and wider project teams throughout the design process.
  • Producing clear and practical technical reports, presentations, sketches, and other project documentation.
  • Contributing to technical innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

  • A strong background in building acoustics, with experience delivering projects through multiple design stages.
  • A desire to take on greater responsibility and continue developing professionally.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Acoustic Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Candidates with a degree in another relevant subject supported by an Institute of Acoustics Diploma will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and positive approach to problem-solving.
  • A genuine interest in delivering high-quality technical and design solutions.
