Senior Activities Instructor

About The Role

Plan and facilitate engaging activities for seniors, promoting socialization and mental stimulation. Conduct group exercises, arts and crafts, music, and other interactive sessions. Adapt activities to accommodate varying abilities and interests. Create a positive and inclusive environment that fosters social engagement and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and stimulating activities for seniors.
  • Plan and facilitate recreational, social, and educational programs.
  • Conduct group exercises, arts and crafts, music, and other interactive sessions.
  • Modify activities to accommodate varying abilities and interests.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes socialization and mental well-being.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure the safety and enjoyment of participants.

Requirements:

  • Experience in planning and leading activities for seniors.
  • Creativity and a passion for promoting social engagement and mental stimulation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience and understanding in working with seniors with diverse needs.
  • Ability to adapt activities to suit individual abilities and preferences.

Je m’appelle Pierre-Louis, je suis le fondateur de MonRépit. MonRépit est né d’une conviction forte : les proches aidants ont besoin de véritables parenthèses de répit, pensées pour eux, sans charge mentale ni organisation supplémentaire à gérer. Je conçois et coordonne des séjours de répit aidant-aidé, pensés comme des temps de respiration, de ressourcement et de recentrage. Mon rôle consiste à créer les conditions idéales pour que chaque séjour se déroule avec fluidité, sécurité et sérénité : choix des lieux, construction des programmes, coordination des intervenants, présence sur le terrain et attention portée à chaque détail. L’objectif est simple : permettre aux participants de se déposer, de profiter pleinement du séjour, et de retrouver de l’énergie, en toute confiance. Pour mener à bien ce projet, je m’entoure d’un réseau de partenaires engagés : professionnels de l’accompagnement et du bien-être, structures médico-sociales, financeurs, prescripteurs et acteurs du territoire. Cette dynamique collective permet de proposer des séjours qualitatifs, accessibles et adaptés aux réalités vécues par les aidants. MonRépit s’inscrit pleinement dans une démarche d’économie sociale et solidaire, où l’impact humain, la coopération et le sens priment sur la logique marchande. Chaque séjour est pensé comme une expérience profondément humaine, fondée sur l’écoute, la bienveillance et le respect de chacun.
