Senior Ad Operations Demand Management Specialist
Pay rate: £38.46 per hour PAYE
Location: London – hybrid working
Contract: Temporary contract
The Opportunity
A leading global entertainment and streaming organisation is seeking a Senior Ad Operations Demand Management Specialist to support its growing advertising business across EMEA. Working at the intersection of advertising operations, account management, sales, product, and technology, you will help ensure campaigns and programmatic demand partnerships are launched effectively, delivered accurately, and optimised against commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end operational delivery of digital advertising campaigns across EMEA.
- Support campaign setup, trafficking, testing, launch, monitoring, and optimisation.
- Coordinate demand from advertisers, agencies, DSPs, and programmatic partners.
- Monitor campaign pacing, inventory availability, delivery, and performance.
- Identify delivery risks and provide solutions to maximise campaign fulfilment and revenue.
- Troubleshoot issues involving creative assets, targeting, tracking, ad serving, and technical integrations.
- Investigate discrepancies relating to impressions, spend, reporting, and billing.
- Support programmatic integrations and workflows involving VAST, DSPs, SSPs, and ad exchanges.
- Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to develop effective advertising solutions.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to resolve platform issues and improve advertising capabilities.
- Produce campaign reports, operational insights, and post-campaign analysis.
- Support testing and implementation of new ad products, formats, and platform features.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting guides, and best-practice processes.
- Provide subject-matter expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Experience
- Strong experience in advertising operations, programmatic advertising, or demand management.
- Experience supporting digital video, connected TV, streaming, or premium media advertising.
- Hands-on knowledge of platforms such as Google Ad Manager, CM360, FreeWheel, DV360, or The Trade Desk.
- Good understanding of DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, and programmatic workflows.
- Experience managing campaign trafficking, pacing, optimisation, and reporting.
- Knowledge of VAST, creative tags, tracking pixels, and third-party measurement.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to analyse campaign data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Desirable Experience
- Experience working within entertainment, streaming, media, or technology.
- Experience supporting advertising campaigns across multiple EMEA markets.
- Familiarity with ad verification, brand safety, and measurement platforms.
- Understanding of privacy, consent, and data-protection requirements within digital advertising.
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, debugging tools, or data-visualisation platforms.

You are commercially aware, technically confident, and comfortable working across multiple teams. You take ownership of operational issues, communicate clearly, and remain calm while resolving complex or time-sensitive campaign challenges.
