Job Title
To undertake and co-ordinate administrative / clerical duties according to Fertility Centre procedures, acting as first point of contact for relevant patients and members of the public contacting, or visiting the department, welcoming them with an understanding and sympathetic attitude.
To provide a range of support services to the Fertility Centre encompassing administrative and clerical duties to aid the smooth running of the unit.
To play a key part in the Fertility Centre team in providing high quality care to all patients accessing our services.
Responsibilities
- Manage referrals into the Fertility Centre, using our electronic systems (EPIC and IDEAS)
- Process funding status from application through to communicating this to our patients - using relevant ICB criteria and appropriate IT systems.
- Communicating with patients via a number of systems; email, IDEAS, Doctor Doctor, Telephone.
- Scheduling appointments including canceling and rescheduling as and when required.
- Payments - Raising invoices using our IDEAS (training will be provided)
