Job Description: Senior Administration Officer (Sold Service Training & Support)
About the Role
Services for Young Children (SfYC), part of Hampshire County Council, seeks an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Senior Administration Officer to support the expansion and delivery of their early years consultancy and training portfolio.
This insightful opportunity allows you to work across multiple teams, including:
- Childcare business support
- Administration
- Early years inclusion
- Early years quality advisory
Key Responsibilities
The role focuses on enhancing SfYC’s training and consultancy services for schools and early years settings through:
- Strategic sourcing of venues to maximise cost-effectiveness
- Promoting and advertising services using innovative, engaging approaches
- Building relationships with professionals in early years sectors
- Supporting schools and settings in accessing programmes that drive professional growth and improvement
- Collaborating with SfYC colleagues to refine, expand, and deliver their service offer

Requirements & Skills
Experience & Knowledge
✔ Demonstrable experience in administration roles with a proven track record ✔ Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, Word) ✔ Intermediate to advanced proficiency in IT systems and social media platforms ✔ Passion for children’s development and dedication to improving child outcomes in Hampshire
