Senior Administrator

37.5 hours per week

Salary circa £29,500

(Please note, this is a full-time role and not term time only)

Due to the continued growth of the School, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional Senior Administrator to join our busy and successful administrative team.

This is a key role within the School and will suit a highly professional, organised, and proactive individual who takes pride in delivering work of the highest standard. The successful candidate will possess meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload efficiently and effectively.

As one of the first points of contact for the School, you will be expected to build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, governors, staff, visitors, and external agencies. A friendly, respectful, and approachable manner, combined with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times, is essential.

School-based administrative experience would be advantageous, although applicants with strong transferable skills and relevant administration experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Requirements:

  • Significant experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A professional, courteous, and confident manner when dealing with children, parents, staff, governors, visitors, and external stakeholders
  • A strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service and support
  • High levels of discretion, integrity, and respect for confidentiality
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a busy team
