Senior Administrator
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and approachable Senior Administrator to join our team at Kids in Bracknell.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll provide essential administrative, financial and operational support to help ensure our services run smoothly. You’ll play an important part in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for children, families, staff and other professionals, while supporting the wider team with everything from payroll and finance administration to recruitment, training and health and safety.

Senior Administrator
Location: The Courthouse, Broadway, Bracknell, RG12 1AE
Salary: £16,576
Hours: 24 hours per week with two core office days on Thursday and Friday
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing timesheets, payroll information, overtime, expenses and absence records for employees and sessional workers
- Maintaining accurate staff records, including annual leave, sickness, TOIL and other absences
- Providing financial administration, including invoicing, petty cash reconciliation, card payments and parental contributions
- Maintaining accurate records, databases, contact information and filing systems
- Supporting recruitment, induction and safer recruitment processes, including monitoring applications and onboarding requirements
- Coordinating and booking staff training and monitoring training requirements
- Managing diaries, meetings, room bookings and other administrative arrangements
- Taking accurate meeting minutes, distributing actions and monitoring progress
- Using family management and communication systems to maintain records and support communication with families
- Responding to enquiries and acting as a professional point of contact for families, staff, professionals and partner agencies
- Ordering and monitoring office supplies, resources and equipment
- Supporting the coordination of meetings, events and multi-agency activities
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of health and safety requirements and the safe running of the Bracknell office
- Liaising with central support teams, including Finance and other internal departments
- Ensuring confidential and sensitive information is managed appropriately at all times

About You
We’re looking for someone who has experience in a busy administrative environment and can confidently manage a varied workload.
You’ll ideally have experience of:

- Payroll, timesheets and absence administration
- Finance processes, including invoicing and petty cash
- Data processing and maintaining accurate records
- Recruitment and staff induction administration
- Diary management, meeting coordination and minute taking
- Training administration
- Health and safety administration
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to front-line enquiries
- Building positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
You’ll also need to be organised, accurate and able to work to deadlines, with a professional and approachable manner. An understanding of disability and the impact it can have on children and families would also be valuable.
